Hi Everybody,

Sorry I couldn't email yesterday. Holidays are always on Mondays. Annoying. I don't have too much time (as always), but here goes.

I was on exchanges with a darling new sister, my new friend. We visited this family who we have been working with. All we did was shared some of our favorite scriptures. She started crying in the middle and said she needed us so bad that day. We invited her to the addiction recovery class and she actually went! It was so so great. That class changes lives. I don't care what the addiction is.

I am making a BOM index of my own personal notes. It's really fun and I am excited to see what it ends up to be. I will just add notes to it as I go throughout my life.

I think I already wrote about the tour I took with the woman with cancer? Just in case I didn't...She was given a month to live. The elders are teaching her. It was my second Spanish tour at the VC. I now believe with all my heart in the gift of tongues. Heavenly Father took over and told me what to say. It was amazing. I think she is getting baptized now.

Sis Wathen and I held a War Council (inspired by our District Leader, Elder Eckern). Alma 52. We wrote down the lies from Satan that he puts into our heads, then the truths from God that help to combat that. It was really powerful.

We felt like we needed to visit this one investigator. We passed by a fee other people's houses and said "should we visit them? we might as well. It's on our way." and decided not to. Then as we drove to his house, we saw him walking down the road! he doesn't have a phone, so he is super hard to get a hold of. It was wonderful to catch him at just the right time. I am glad we followed the spirit and went to see him when we did. I know God cares about the little things. He needed us that day and we hadn't seen him forever! God so carefully orchestrates things.

Bishop Cato lined up a lesson for us. It was super awkward because this person didn't know WE were going to be there. Whoops! Anyway, it ended up great and we will be teaching them. Yay for members who refer their friends!

I am so grateful for all the things I am learning about love and families. We keep visiting these crazy, Dysfunctional families with no structure in their lives. I KNOW scripture study and prayer would change them forever if they would just do it.

I got a visit from cute sis huntington! She brought home a box full of my stuff. So great! Love her! Fun to get a taste of home.

Pres VK is done with his radiation treatments. "The glow show is over, folks!!"

We gave the lesson in YW. IT was about how to write missionaries. I now have all the does and don'ts. Rule number one: JUST WRITE US!!! And don't worry about the rules.

Love you all so so much. Super hurry! Ah!! One minute. God lives. He loves you. This is His work. The Book of Mormon will give you answers and help you get to know Jesus Christ better than anything else in the world.
